The Fourth MIT ILP Global Innovation (Xi'an) Forum Held

From September 26th to 27th, sponsored by Shaanxi Province Natural Resources Department, Shaanxi Provincial People's Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Shaanxi Province Science and Technology Department, MIT Global Industry Alliance, Chang'an University School of Land Engineering, Shaanxi Province Land Engineering The 4th MIT ILP Global Innovation (Xi'an) Forum co-sponsored by China Construction Group was successfully held in the Key Laboratory of Degraded and Unused Land Remediation of the Ministry of Natural Resources. Bai Aying, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Decision-making Advisory Committee, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences An Zhisheng, Zhou Weijian, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Tang Zhongli, Sun Jiulin, Chen Xuegeng, Kang Zhensheng, Zhao Chunjiang, chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Land Engineering Construction Group and Dean of the College of Land Engineering Experts and scholars such as Li Zhanbin, Vice President of Xi'an University of Technology, and nearly 100 units of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China Agricultural University, Northwest A & F University, Sichuan University, Hohai University, Central South University, Northeast Agricultural University, etc. Experts and scholars and relevant teachers from Chang'an University and the College of Land Engineering attended the meeting. The forum was held in conjunction with the Second National Soil Engineering Symposium hosted by the Soil Engineering Working Committee of the Chinese Soil Society. Xue Jianxing, director of Shaanxi Province Natural Resources Department chaired the meeting.


President Sha Aimin introduced the basic situation of the construction and development of our school and the discipline of land engineering in the speech of the conference. Our school and Shaanxi Provincial Land Engineering Construction Group jointly established the first land engineering college in the country, which is a pilot college for higher education reform in the new era. Principal Sha Aimin emphasized the need to give full play to the advantages of school-enterprise cooperation, aim at the academic frontier of land science and technology, and cultivate top innovative talents in response to major strategic needs such as ecological civilization construction, rural rejuvenation, beautiful China, and local economic development; systematic research on land quantity, quality, The basic theories and key technologies of ecological Trinity land engineering strive to make breakthroughs in areas such as natural resource investigation and monitoring, land space optimization management and control, and ecological protection and restoration technology systems (Three Systems).

Academician Jiulin Sun , Academician Xuegeng Chen, Academician Chunjiang Zhao and Professor Ling Han and Professor Li Zhenhong of our school respectively wrote Informatization and Land Security, Integration of Agricultural Machinery and Information Technology to Promote the High-quality and High-Efficiency Development of Agricultural Mechanization in China, Report on Practice, Key Technologies and Applications of Multiple Remote Sensing in Land Rehabilitation in the Loess Area, Satellite Radar Remote Sensing for Sustainable Land Resources Development: Land Subsidence Monitoring and Prevention Planning. Focusing on the themes of technological innovation and land engineering and rural revitalization, the latest science and technology and engineering innovation achievements of related research institutions at home and abroad in the fields of land, ecology, soil, information, etc. are displayed, with a view to vigorously promoting the construction of ecological civilization. Build a solid foundation for human survival and development, and promote the theoretical and technical research on the frontiers of multidisciplinary fields of land engineering, soil science, and ecology on an international scale, providing a high-level communication platform for promoting green development and rural revitalization strategies.
