Key Laboratory of Degraded and Unused Land Remediation Engineering of the Ministry of Natural Resources (School-enterprise joint construction)

It was established in May 2012 with the approval of the former Ministry of Land and Resources. The relying units are Shaanxi Provincial Land Engineering Construction Group, Institute of Geographical Sciences and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chang'an University. It is an important part of the science and technology innovation base of the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Researchers

There are more than 100 laboratory researchers, focusing on experimental research on theories, technologies and methods of comprehensive management of various types of degraded and unused land, providing technical support and theoretical support for land engineering. At the same time, domestic and foreign cooperation and exchanges in the field of land remediation engineering science and technology have been extensively carried out, so that basic research and personnel training in the field of land remediation engineering have continued to develop rapidly. Play an important supporting role for the dynamic balance of the total cultivated land nationwide, ensure food security, and ensure social and economic development.
