Foreign cooperation and scientific and technological exchanges

Land engineering is a necessary means to improve the quality of the land. Organic reorganization of the soil is the core foundation of land engineering. The purpose is to provide healthy land for the living environment and crop growth. The ultimate goal is to pursue ecological harmony. As a cutting-edge discipline, land engineering must insist on introducing and going out in the course of discipline construction. In recent years, the School of Land Engineering and Stanford, Cambridge, MIT, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University and other well-known universities at home and abroad have carried out multi-faceted cooperation, effectively promoting the international development of land engineering disciplines.

In April 2016, at the Sino-U.S. Land Engineering Conference, they jointly issued the Initiation Letter for the Establishment of the International Society of Land Engineering and discussed and approved the Xi'an Declaration on Land Engineering and Land Ecological Development.

In September 2016, the MIT Global Innovation (Xi'an) Forum-The Rise of the Big Data and Land Engineering Discipline International Academic Exchange Conference was held in Xi'an, and the participating experts reached a consensus that the ecologicalization of land cannot be separated from the development of land engineering.

In December 2016, the Symposium on Scientific and Technological Innovation and Land Engineering Discipline Construction of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Land and Resources was grandly held at the Key Laboratory of Degraded and Unused Land and Land Remediation Engineering of the Ministry of Land and Resources of the Group Corporation.
