School of Land Engineering General Information

On September 29, 2015, Chang'an University and Shaanxi Land Engineering Construction Group jointly established the nation's first land engineering college, and set up a doctoral program for land engineering disciplines. On March 27, 2017, it was approved as a land improvement engineering undergraduate major For the first time, land engineering has been included in the national higher education series. The first domestic-Master-Bo complete talent training system for land engineering disciplines was created, laying the foundation for the development of the disciplines. In September 2019, Chang'an University and Shaanxi Provincial Land Engineering Construction Group reached an agreement and formally approved the independent establishment of the College of Land Engineering. Since then, the School of Land Engineering, as one of the key construction colleges of Chang'an University, has opened a new chapter in comprehensive construction. It mainly undertakes the construction of new engineering disciplines in the field of land, the cultivation of first-level disciplines in land engineering, the cultivation of cutting-edge innovative talents in the field of land, high-level scientific research, The establishment of first-class disciplines such as the construction of national platforms, the construction of first-class teachers, and international exchanges and cooperation.

In January 2018, approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, relying on Chang'an University and Shaanxi Provincial Land Engineering Construction Group, it formally established a key laboratory for land remediation in Shaanxi Province. The laboratory has advanced instruments and equipment and big data services for sampling, testing, analysis, and observation of soil reconstruction materials, soil structure, biological nutrition guarantee, soil reconstruction physics, chemistry, mechanics, and biological properties. The platform has a total value of about 36 million yuan, including 50 large and medium-sized analytical instruments and equipment with a value of more than 100,000 yuan, worth 26 million yuan.
